The Pittsburgh Passion is a women’s American professional football team that is a part of the Women’s Football Alliance.
Since their inauguration year in 2002, the Passion have had a couple key accomplishments:
- First women’s football franchise in history to broadcast games on a major television network (Fox Sports Net)
- First franchise to be featured in Sports Illustrated
- First franchise to be featured on ESPN
